Social and Emotional Learning standards have been a buzzworthy topic in education for numerous years. Many districts have recognized the importance of helping students develop socially and emotionally and the impact it has on their success. With recent changes to education because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are finding that not only are children having increased needs in social and emotional support but so are adults. Dr. Theresa Rouse and Dr. Sunni McNeal from Joliet Public Schools District 86 will share support for districts to consider while helping to meet the social and emotional needs of students and those of teachers, administrators, and school board members.

Following the presentation there will be an opportunity for networking to discuss the presentation and network around common issues and ideas.
