The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
IASB Advocacy Ambassadors are invited to a short presentation on student discipline, from the initial passage of SB100 in 2016, to challenges and successes that districts have faced in its implementation and, most recently to conversations and concerns that have given rise to SB1400 (Lightford). Explore how education advocates are working together to identify the best approach to student discipline in an effort to balance the need to reduce exclusionary discipline practices with the importance of keeping the educational environment safe for teachers, staff and students.
