Student Cell Phone Bans: Panel members Bryan Dunn, Administrator, Collinsville CUSD 10; Debra Jacobson, IASB General Counsel; and Mike Stephens, IASB Government Relations Director, will address the challenges of student cell phone bans. 

The negative impact of student cell phone use during school has prompted some districts to develop and enact unique policies addressing this challenge. Similarly, the state legislature continues to strategize toward the development of a standard district approach. Collinsville CUSD 10 will share its policy-driven approach to address student cell phone use. IASB specialists will join the featured district to offer legal insight and legislative forecasts for the upcoming veto session on this topic.
