Edgar Stoesz has spent his entire life in a variety of for-profit and nonprofit organizations, most of them in a faith tradition. In addition to serving 34 years with Mennonite Central Committee, Stoesz served on and chaired the oards of Habitat for Humanity International, American Leprosy Missions, Heifer International, and Hospital Albert Schweitzer (Haiti). He has also written 10 books, five of which are related to board work, and has addressed hundreds of organizations on good board service practices and techniques.
